ABOUT
Gateway to the UK
One of the largest brownfield sites in Southern England, located in a spectacular location, near Calshot, on the west bank of Southampton Water.
The site falls within the boundary of the New Forest District Council and the New Forest National Park Authority.
Road
The site is only a 105 minute drive from London via the M27 and A326. Hampshire County Council are currently proposing an extension to the dual- carriageway section of the A326 to increase capacity and journey times.
Rail
Southampton Central and Southampton Airport Parkway train stations provide onward connections to London and beyond. Network Rail plan to reopen the Waterside railway line that would provide regular passenger services from Southampton Central to Marchwood, Totton and Hythe.
Ferry
A dock, linked to Southampton Water, is located centrally within the site. A fast ferry service is under consideration that would provide a journey time from Fawley Waterside to Southampton or Fawley Waterside to Cowes in 15 minutes.
